Human Anatomy & Physiology
Elementary / Middle School
About the Course
Human Anatomy & Physiology is a hands-on homeschool science class where students discover how the human body works, system by system. Through labs, models, interactive demonstrations, and age-appropriate dissections, students explore the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and see real anatomy up close.
By the end of the year, students understand how the body's systems work together to keep us moving, breathing, and thinking, and they leave with the lab skills, science vocabulary, and curiosity that make future biology courses easier.
Course Expectations
Students will complete weekly assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects throughout the year to reinforce learning and deepen their understanding of anatomy and physiology.
