About the Course
Mathematics helps students build a strong foundation in logical reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical understanding. Offered twice weekly, this course is designed to strengthen core math skills while helping students develop confidence, fluency, and the ability to apply concepts in meaningful ways.
Students will engage in direct instruction, guided practice, collaborative learning, hands-on activities, and real-world problem-solving. The course supports both independent and group work to reinforce learning and promote mastery of key mathematical concepts.
Course Expectations
Students will complete regular homework assignments, practice activities, interactive review games, quizzes, tests, and problem-solving exercises throughout the year. All students will complete a placement assessment before beginning the course so they can be placed at the level that best supports their current skills and learning needs.
This is a two-day-per-week course.
