Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of our website and your enrollment in Astrolabe Institute programs. Please read them carefully.

Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Astrolabe Institute (“Astrolabe,” “we,” “us”). By using astrolabeinstitute.com or by enrolling a student in our program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or enroll.
About our program
Astrolabe Institute is a homeschool enrichment program for K–12 students based in Oviedo, Florida. Our classes are designed to supplement and enrich a family's homeschool education through hands-on, small-group instruction. Astrolabe is an enrichment program and is not a substitute for a full curriculum, a public or private school, or for any legal homeschooling requirements that apply to your family.
Enrollment and registration
To enroll, you must provide accurate, complete information for the student and parent or guardian. You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the student, or are authorized to enroll the student. Enrollment is a commitment for the full academic year, as described in our Full-Year Enrollment Commitment. New families may be required to complete a brief enrollment interview before enrollment is finalized.
Tuition and payment
Tuition may be paid through the Step Up For Students scholarship — Astrolabe is a direct provider — or by invoice for families not using a scholarship. Registration is not complete until payment, or an approved Step Up funding request, is in place. Tuition is due on the schedule shown on your invoice or in the Step Up portal, and is governed by our Tuition & Late-Payment Policy. Families using a scholarship are responsible for maintaining their own eligibility and funding through Step Up For Students.
Withdrawals and refunds
Because seats are limited and enrollment is a full-year commitment, tuition is generally non-refundable. If your family experiences unforeseen circumstances or hardship, please contact us as early as possible and we will work with you in good faith. As described in our Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Policy, a student dismissed for repeated or serious behavioral concerns may be dismissed without reimbursement.
Student conduct, safety, and participation
Students are expected to follow our Code of Conduct. By enrolling, you give permission for your child to take part in hands-on activities and supervised fieldwork, and you agree to provide accurate health information and an emergency contact so we can support your child's safety. You agree to inform us of any change to your child's medical needs or emergency contact.
Photo and video release
Enrollment includes agreement to our Photo & Video Release, which explains how and why we may use class photos and video, and how you can opt your child out of public use.
Use of our website
The content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — belongs to Astrolabe Institute or its partners and is provided for your personal, informational use. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We work hard to deliver a high-quality program, but our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Astrolabe Institute and its instructors and staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or participation in the program. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the website or the program after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
